Planning to Travel or Make a Foreign Purchase?

To help ensure continued access to your funds, please contact us any time you plan to travel domestically or internationally. BWD currently blocks all NON-U.S. signature based and online transactions (with the exception of Canada). Make sure to contact us if you plan to use your BWD debit card for these types of transactions. ATM transactions are allowed in foreign countries, but you should still notify us of your travel plans.
Remember that when you plan to make purchases, BWD has also placed blocks in some states on certain merchant types due to high fraud trends. If you process your transaction as a credit and it declines, we recommend using your PIN to complete the transaction. Please contact us if you do not know your PIN, or would like to change your current one. For a list of current blocked states/merchants, please contact the Deposit Operations department.
